In Room 4 we are learning to add detail to our writing. We have been exploring Cinquain poems as they are a great way for us use interesting words in our writing.
Last week we went and explored our school. We looked at all the leaves that have fallen, and got to play in them too.
Then when we were all puffed Mr Hebberd took us back to class where we created a huge list of interesting words that we could use to describe our experience.
Here are some of the Cinquain poems we wrote...
Autumn
Fluttered, side to side
Sharp like a knife and a shark fin
Yellow, red, green
Soft
By Bella
Autumn
Floating sideways
Scaly, soft, slimy
Yellow, Orange, Brown, Black
Soft
By Eva
Autumn
They float
They look sharp
The colour is orange
Soft
By Isha
